Yeah, whilst the concept of raiding with complete strangers (and the potential to get in trouble for doing something wrong) scares me I do agree that it's probably the best way to check how youre doing & more of a challenge etc.Jojohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14075991022814021056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3275654406555696047.post-53825128016104036722013-04-16T08:20:55.363+01:002013-04-16T08:20:55.363+01:00Yay! While raiding with my guild is always the most fun (we are so incredibly average and laugh our asses off when we wipe), I find LFR a great way to monitor "how I'm doing" in terms of dps or healing. It's one thing to raid with your guild where you know what your "job" is, but in LFR, I like the idea of "seeing where I can be of most benefit" depending on what classes etc are in the raid with me. Beefing up your gear definitely helps with survivability and getting your dailies done faster. Lately I've quit raiding regular content and only getting into an LFR here or there. I'll be doing more though, since I found out that I need more attack power in order to solo heal Dreamwalker of ICC on my hunter. Soloing old content has always been a favorite thing of mine ever since I started playing WoW.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14614400677572131227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3275654406555696047.post-32937256714077708012013-04-08T23:17:55.228+01:002013-04-08T23:17:55.228+01:00Well your iPad doesn't seem to have commandeer...Well your iPad doesn't seem to have commandeered your comment! Before last night and the subsequent comments I thought I was the only person who was, I guess you'd say, intimidated by LFR but I'm not. Baby steps are certainly the way forward - I had to take many before I'd do dungeons alone. I've done world bosses with guildies but never aloen but I'd definately feel safer doing that alone than LFR.Jojohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14075991022814021056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3275654406555696047.post-3677706917046127192013-04-08T22:25:31.794+01:002013-04-08T22:25:31.794+01:00I'm doing this on my iPad so hope it doesn'...I'm doing this on my iPad so hope it doesn't take over and change everything, lol! That is so great! I recently did a couple LFRs too, but only when given a big push by a guildmate. Have not tried one alone yet. Baby steps! Can't figure out why world bosses don't count for me, I don't mind doing them by myself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
