A World Event dedicated to (primarily) alcoholic liquids... it's Brewfest!

Blossom, my Blossoming Ancient, changes with the seasons. I'm guessing he'll soon be all autumny.

When I finished the original (August) edition of #WoWscreenshotaday I said I wasn't sure if I'd take part in the September edition and that if I did it would be in batches rather than eveery day. Well I've decided to take part and to do 5 at a time. I had these screenshots ready on Thursday which was the 5th but totally forgot about it...

Day 31: Dangerous

The Snapjaw Crocolisk in Northern Stranglethorn are really dangerous - especially if you're only a little Gnomeee!

This is the end of Tycertanks #WoWscreenshotaday. I've really enjoyed it and you can view all of my screenshots here. There is a September edition of #WoWscreenshotaday but I haven't yet decided if I'll be taking part. I do really enjoy taking screenshots and the challenge that comes with daily themes. However, I think doing it in batches (of say 5 days) would suit me better. We'll see...

Day 30: Cluttered

I know a few others had the same idea for this theme but I think that my bags say a lot about me. I'm a hoarder - in both reality and the virtual world. This is after I sold a load of stuff from my hunters bag. The left bit is her bank and the right her bag.

I was going to show you my personal guild bank but that would be even worse!! The worst part is that pretty much all of my chars have similar situations - bags of useful crap!

In addition to my bags and bank being cluttered I think my action bars are also in a bit of a state. There's abilities on them that I never use. To be fair, theres abilities that I don't even know exist and when people talka bout them it literally goes over my head. A prime example is Disengage - I rarely if ever use it but people rave about it being an essential hunter ability... so it sits there... waiting to be used... some day...

Day 29: Lucky

 

For this I've decided to go with my beloved Drake of the North Wind. Anytime someone mentions this amazing mount I feel the urge to tell them about when I got mine - like a proud parent talking about their child. I don't mean to boast but I love it that much. I also appreciate how lucky I was to have it drop for me on my first or second run of The Vortex Pinnacle!



One of my favourite things about this mount is the lightning that flows through it's stone body. I made a couple of GIFs to try and capture this but they aren't the best quality sadly...

I took this inside one of the corridors in Auchindoun. I was able to get my rather large Boomkin bum right into the corner to get the double aspect of the shot.

One of my favourite instance entrances in-game has to be the entrance to Onyxia's Lair.

For this one I was inspired by an article on WoW Insider a while back Have you ever gone for a walk?. I started off directly below Dalaran city and followed the road around to the south and into Dragonblight. I walked for 10 minutes and this shot is taken from where I finished - in the Crystal Vice.

Day 23: Yellow

This picture is off the skyline in the Blade's Edge Mountains. I really struggled to think of something that matched the theme of yellow! Nonetheless I'm really glad I made the decision to travel to this zone.

Day 25: Culture

Whilst leveling my Druid in Terokkar Forest I came across the Arakkoa. They're a strange bunch of bird people and I imagine their cultures pretty weird too.

Day 21: Slow

I took this screenshot earlier. It's my druid Tertami, who I've been leveling recently. Her skinning skill is up to date with her leveling but her leatherworking is not!! It's quite far behind and the reason being - it's so slow to level! You need so much leather for each crafted item that it requires you to spend extra time in a zone skinning once you out-level it. I'm currently skinning in Outlands but my leatherworking requires mats from the end of vanilla to progress to the point where I can use what I'm skinning now *rolls eyes*. My plan is to level some more, go back to the Blasted Lands, skin some more and get to crafting Outlands gear.

Day 19: Lost

For todays 'Lost' theme I am presenting a picture of me jumping out of some lava at Blackrock Mountains. A long time ago, we were doing a guild run of Molten Core but I wasn't attuned. So, I needed to run through Blackrock Depths in order to do this. In my wisdom I said that I'd be fine navigating my way through but after I spent about 10-15mins lost someone decided to come fine me. I then accidently fell into the lava and somehow managed to swim to the entrance of MC without realising it. I then entered the raid to find that the people looking for me were on there way to my last known position with Blackrock Depths. Whilst I found it quite funny I'm not sure that anyone else did!!

For me the best thing about completing Battlefield: Barrens is the title the Hordebreaker! I'm also a big fan of the overturned shipments for speeding things up. I have literally just finished the weekly for the first time - yayyy!

Day 13: Fast

This part of a screenshot shows two different things relating to 'fast'. The first being the progress that my new guild, SWPD, has made in the week since it was formed. We've reached level 3 unlocking the perk Mount Up. I have also recently gained the ability to use flight form on my druid which makes traveling around and questing a lot faster.

I love being the only person fishing from a pool whilst
nearby there's a bunch of people fighting over a single pool!!

There's one thing that I could sit and do in-game for hours on end - fishing! I know for a lot of people it's a secondary profession they'd rather not think about let alone do. I have it maxed on my hunter and am leveling it on a number of other alts. It's just so happened that today is Sunday, when the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza takes place. I try to take part in it each week and today I took these few screenshots whilst I was there.
